Pakistan made $158.140 million in the first four months of the current fiscal year 2022–23 by providing different travel services in other countries. According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), this demonstrates a decline in growth of 13.59 percent compared to the value of US $183.006M worth of similar services delivered during the previous fiscal year 2021–22.
During the Period July-October 2022, the Amount Spent On Personal Travel Services Declines By 13.77 Percent
The amount of money spent on personal travel services fell by 13.77 percent over the period under consideration, going from $182.356 million in the previous year to $157.250M in July-October 2022. When it comes to personal services, the decrease in exports of health-related expenditures came in at 59.09 percent, while the decrease in exports of education-related expenditures came in at 4.59 percent.
During this time period, people also spent 13.62 percent less on various personal services. According to data by PBS, the value of professional services exports went up by 36.92%. During the same time period, this value went from $0.650 million to $0.890 million.
It is important to point out here that the services exported from the nation observed a gain of 3.97 percent in the first four months of the current fiscal year (2022-23) as compared to the same time frame of the previous year. Export of Services Surges 3.97 % as Compare to Last Fiscal Year
The value of services exported from July to October (2022-23) was stated to be US$ 2259.21 million. This figure represents a 3.97 percent increase over the value of services exported from July to October 2021-22, which was US$ 2172.85 million. The value of the country’s imports decreased by 11.83 percent, from US$ 3483.37 million in the same period last year to US$ 3071.13 million this year.
